Whatever You Have!!
Is All You Need!
Films/TV

While doodling on my standardized test for college, I decided after not getting accepted anywhere that I would work at the Steak 'n Shake on Cobb Pkwy.  I saved $5k and was accepted to The American Academy  of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Ca. After a year of cutting class and landing multiple roles most notably a role as a hand-double in "Guess Who." I moved back to the "A" when I had an insightful life-changing convo with my grandfather Perry D. Harris Sr. "Pop Pop." " Have you considered a skilled-trade?"  he said.

I completed nail school six months later at the International School of Skin & Nail Care in Sandy Springs, Ga. after coming to class for 12 hours each day.  A year later, I moved back to Los Angeles and worked at a prestigious salon in Beverly Hills servicing esteemed talent such as Debbie Morgan, Magic Johnson, Jessica Biel, and Alexis Bledel among many others. Longing to encase all of my gifts into one beautifully wrapped package, I enrolled in film school at the Savannah College of Art and Design: Savannah & Atlanta campuses.  I was exhausted working at three different nail salons to pay my tuition so I transferred  to the illustrious Georgia State University graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Media, minoring in English.

I took a brief sabbatical from film and television upon graduation to study Early Childhood Education at Chattahoochee Technical College.  After being a laid off from teaching, I became a Certified Juvenile Correctional Officer with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, my favorite job of  all time besides creating!
